***Renaissance Accelerated Reader landscape is constantly changing. The library needs to stay ahead of the advanced readers in all grades to assist appropriate reading material. For example, many first grade children are placed at the 4.0 and above categories, at the same time we have second grade children reading in the 4.0 to 6.0 reading range.
To accommodate the early readers reading at higher levels, the library will divide the fiction section into two categories to assist in content appropriate reading material. The two sections will be LG for lower grades K - 4th, and MG for middle grades through 8th!
